The Making of War Horse

Today I watched "The Making of War Horse" DVD.  I learnt that for characters they write all the personalities of the character down and work-out how they can show this.  I have written down some of the characteristics but not in great deal, so I am going to do this.
Also on the DVD they went to an Army Equestrian centre and all the actors, puppeteers and directors (there were two directors) rode on the horses to feel how they move and work out how they can bring it into the show.  I want to use this idea to research into giraffes for the Giraffe costume.  I will watch videos of how they walk and move, if I get the chance I will go to Twycross Zoo and watch them, draw pictures and take photos of them.
